Responsibilities:
- Follow Company’s user voice & tone, manage and develop it into a similarly friendly conversational personality in India as what Company has accomplished in China
- Create and manage existing and new social media accounts for India (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Google+ etc)
- Own and be accountable for all social media engagement metrics
- Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written)to reach the company’s target audience
- Ensure that the content is consistent with Company’s global brand guidelines
- Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way
- Continuously grow the fan base
- Ensure very high engagement level on all social media platforms
- Develop and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts
- Monitor benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of Social Media campaigns
- Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
Qualifications:
- Native English and Hindi speaker, Chinese is plus
- Bachelor degree in top-tier university in a Creative or Communications-related field
- 5-6 years of experience working as a social media expert, ideally with some international experience
- Demonstrated experience building social media audiences from zero to millions across multiple countries, including hands-on development of creative materials and copy
- In-depth experience with social media analytics and optimization techniques, having directly managed end-to-end execution of social media campaigns over significant period
- World-class creative writing skills (long-form and short-form portfolio required)
- Extremely creative and witty demonstrable via own blog
- Strong sense of design and aesthetics
- Entrepreneurial spirit, not a "corporate person" and very outgoing, likeable, presentable, humble and naturally capable of easily interacting with others
- Quirky personality
Location:
- Permanent: Bangalore, India
- Will need to travel to Beijing for 1st few months, to understand Company’s social media strategy
