SOC Head - Security Strategy - IT Infrastructure

We are appointed to Recruit a SOC Head to be based at Noida for our client, a subsidiary of USD 8 Billion Business group

Profile Overview

Responsible for overall security strategy and SOC operations for the organisation.

Planning for manpower and tools / technologies required for smooth functioning of SOC to meet the SLAs. Possesses in-depth knowledge on network, endpoint, threat intelligence, forensics, and malware reverse engineering as well as the functioning of specific applications or underlying IT infrastructure. Acts as incident hunter, not waiting for escalated incidents and performs deep-dive incident analysis by correlating data from various sources; determines if a critical system or data set has been impacted; advises on remediation.

Job Description

- Have experience of setting up the SOC for large organisation

- Should have ROI based approach of presenting things to management

- Should Have handled a bigger operation or Multiple projects

- Should be well versed in the Technologies required for SOC Implementation

Log correlations Tools

Process Governance and KPI Measurements

Interfacing and escalation handling with customers

Forensic Analysis

Vendor Management and escalation handling with Vendors

Exposure of add on devices control like Printers, IOT Devices, MDMs etc.

- Achieve 100% compliance and Security control

- Knowledge about transitioning of such services from the current state

- Should have thorough knowledge of handling critical factors in SOC

- Exposure of managing relationship with Big 4

- Charter of SOC

- Exposure in Assets Mgmt, Tracking, Applications Control, License control etc.

- Experience in handling Centralized or Decentralized SOC and Responsivity Mgmt. of actions

- Knowledge of Privacy Law, Legal Process and how to take care of the same

- Recovery Process, emergency response team, Structure and its management

- Setting up of targets for SOC and team

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Ability to handle multiple project teams simultaneously

- Excellent Team Management Skills

- Proposal writing

Qualification - B.Tech / B.E.

Experience - 18-20 years
