Job Role:   - Being an online marketplace, sellers are the foundation for Snapdeal, and hence a critical part of business growth in the company. The Account Head is responsible for managing of sellers of a particular category (eg: mobiles, computers, etc.). The role entails maximizing revenue from all sellers and ensuring their operational competence in providing the required services to Snapdeal customers  - As an account head you need to manage all seller related aspects of building assortment, pricing, stock planning, promotions, tracking competition, managing key metric of sales, cancellations, SLA inventory etc.   - An account head leads a team of Account Managers who in turn are seller-facing and individually handle a set of sellers  - Each Account Head is responsible for thousands of sellers and products. The seller and product mix changes each month. The scale, variety and constant process changes are a key challenge in implementing any planned initiative  Job Responsibility:  - Deliver on a sales plan at a category and a sub-category level  - Monitor macro indicators such as revenue, price reduction and seller performance (cancellations, shipping performance and product quality)  - Identify key levers for improvement in metrics and implement them through account managers or process changes with the help of support functions  - Meet key sellers across region to grow business  - Ensure Snapdeal is a preferred marketplace for sellers to do business online  - Generate and implement new sales and promotions initiatives for sales growth  - Overlook day to day working of AMs and create and implement tools to improve AM's efficiency  - Collaborate with cross functional internal partners for end to end execution of all initiatives  - Undertake special projects and ensure complete planning and execution  - Meet commercial objectives of sales targets and conversion rates   - People Management - Build, coach, develop and motivate your team to meet and exceed performance expectations  Travel Requirements:  The profile will require you to travel 5-10 days a month to various locations within a region to meet sellers and AMs
