Senior Product Manager

The Job:

As a Senior Product Manager, you will have complete ownership of roadmap, requirements and delivery of the product platform. You will provide leadership to cross-functional teams to develop and implement new capabilities in the product. You will build products from existing/new ideas and help develop new ideas based on detailed analysis of user behaviour, industry trends etc. You will also collaborate with internal teams to understand their requirements and implement them.

You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy. You must have strong leadership skills, be extremely detail oriented, have an ability to prioritize several competing requirements. You must have demonstrated excellence in your prior roles for end-to-end ownership of product lifecycle. You must be a self-starter who can independently lead multiple projects simultaneously and successfully to achieve business objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- End to end ownership of product roadmap and execution

- Conceptualize new business initiatives working with business stakeholders and scale business impact through effective planning, analysis of business and operational data metrics, and by driving execution with operations and technology team

- Collaborate with business teams to understand and prioritize their requirements

- Collaborate and lead cross-functional teams (engineering, project management, design etc.) to implement new product capabilities

- Analyse diverse and large amount of data to come up with insights to drive business forward

- Follow industry trends and competition very closely to stay ahead of the curve at all times

- People Management - Hire right talent, build a high-performing team and provide mentorship to members of your team

Desired Profile and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Tier 1/2) and MBA (a plus) from Tier 1 Institutes

- 6 - 8 years of work experience with 4+ years in product management roles with consumer internet companies.

- Strong understanding of Technical architecture of web and mobile products

- Strong understanding of B2C and internet space in India

- Track record of successful collaboration with product development team(s)

- Strong analytical skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Self-directed and able to progress independently with little guidance

- Ability to build relationships at all levels in the organization and possessing a team oriented attitude

- Experience in cross-functional environments including sales, marketing, business management, customer support etc.
