About the Company :  Snapdeal is one of the largest marketplaces in the e-commerce space in India today and growing at break-neck speed. It creates millions of customer impressions on a daily basis, hosts more than 4 million products, which are sold by 50,000+ of sellers. All these put together generate Gigabytes of data on a daily basis for Snapdeal.   We are looking for a rock-star who can help us build and manage the campaign analytics team for the Home and Electronics vertical. The Home and Electronics Vertical contributes a major portion of Snapdeal's revenues, and work with 30,000 sellers representing 1.5 million # of unique products.   Expectations from the Job :   - Responsibilities will largely revolve around the development, implementation and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels within the context of Snapdeal's Home & Electronics business.  - One line objective for the role is to - understand target segments and sub-segments, develop and co-execute digital campaigns of all manner, measure effectiveness and improve overall conversion and response rates   The primary objective of the role is to help the Category teams :  - Design and manage consumer campaigns across channels - Email, Web, SMS, PPC, Contact Center, Social Networks, etc.,  - Conceptualize digital marketing plans to increase traffic and engagement with new, prospects and repeat buyers, building a best customer program that drives cross-category purchases and increased loyalty - These may include, but are not limited to, acquisition, retention, re-purchase campaigns, based on buyer history, triggered events, behavioural propensity, etc.,  - Develop and upgrade category capability in the digital area and seamlessly integrate digital marketing into each category program  - Identify the right target groups (segments / sub segments) for list management  - Build segmentation based targeting strategies for better campaign results  - Determine the most effective communication channel based on channel propensity and prior consumption  - Develop and own campaign measurement tools with standard KPIs  Who we are looking for :  The ideal candidate -  - Should have between 5 and 7 years of work experience in digital marketing, campaign management and marketing analytics in a retail or e-tail scenario or similar multi-product multi-vendor scenario.  - Bachelors/Masters in Statistics, Marketing or equivalent with a background in Digital Marketing, Database Marketing, Campaign management  - Hands on experience with campaign design, list management, execution and reporting for new customer acquisition, customer retention, cross-sell/up-sell, trigger based events, etc.,  - Hands on experience with analyzing response rates (open & click), cross channel conversions, subject line based propensity, time of the day propensity, channel propensity, etc,.  - Hands on experience with developing behavioural / demographic segmentation hypotheses using techniques like latent class, k-means, collaborative filtering, discriminant analysis, etc.,  - Experience with relational databases like SQL and campaign management platforms like Blueshift, UNICA or equivalent  - Proficiency in one or more statistical packages such as R, SAS, et al.  Thus, candidates with a core marketing analytics & digital marketing background, having good exposure to end to end database marketing will be preferred.  Other Must-Haves :   - Should have worked in environments where huge amount of data is generated on a daily basis. Being from an e-commerce industry would be an added advantage   - Extremely strong business orientation, high problem solving skills with ability to clearly communicate thoughts in simple English.   - Believes all work is good and exciting, from data management to building predictive model, with a focus on - getting things done  - Deadline driven, team player, with strong focus on creating value   - At least 5 years of work-ex, and not more than 7 years - all in marketing analytics preferable (Please don't apply if you don't meet the work-ex requirements)
