The company is run by a very young, dynamic & innovative team of over 1000 people, and is backed by leading global investors such as eBay Inc., Intel Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Nexus Venture Partners and IndoUS Venture Partners.  Role: Brand Manager  Location: New Delhi  Team:   Brand marketing team is the custodian of the overall Snapdeal brand and is responsible for building it amongst various stake holders of the business, Buyers (End consumers) and Sellers. The primary objective of the team is to build equity for the Brand by developing and executing the brand marketing plan for the year. The key focus area for this role, is to build leadership for the brand for a set of categories (Electronics/Fashion & Lifestyle/ Home), within the relevant audiences.  Given the rapid growth of the overall business in the last 2 years, and the aggressive plans for the coming year, this team will be critical to achieving the goals of the overall business by building and growing the Snapdeal brand  Key Responsibilities:  The key responsibilities of the role include  - Develop and drive the strategy and marketing mix for Snapdeal Brand for a specific set of categories.  - Responsible for Developing consumer insights, Driving Communication and creative execution across all the touch points of the consumer for those categories.  - Develop key metrics to track Brand perception for the set of categories, amongst the relevant TG   - Driving Consumer focus across the various teams within the company in order to build the requisite positioning for the brand   - Drive Consumer research and competitive analysis, to ensure the Brand remains relevant to consumers and measure the effectiveness of the initiatives that are being driven to support the Brand promise  - Participate in Media Strategy, planning & buying across all Offline mediums to deliver maximum returns on the brand investments done  - Develop innovative solutions which include product integration and In-content placement and partnerships which deliver the brand objectives in a cost effective manner  - Assist the Brand and online marketing teams in planning and conceptualizing campaigns which can create significant recall for the brand in existing and new mediums  - Identify key partnerships for the brand and explore new channels which can increase effectiveness of reaching out to the target audience of Potential Online shoppers for the categories.  Key Result Areas & Performance Indicators:  The role would be accountable for  - Meeting the Organic traffic targets and increasing the contribution of Organic traffic to the categories, as a percentage of Overall traffic  - Meeting the targets for all the key metrics of the Brand around Brand Preference and the desired perception, for the set of categories.  - Driving up the search intent for the Brand within these categories to make it the preferred destination to buy  Requirements:  - Must have experience in driving the overall strategy for large brands  - Must have experience in executing long term campaigns across channels and mediums  - Must be able to guide the teams on delivering the objectives which are aligned to the overall business and the brand  - Must be able to align and drive processes across all the teams in the company
