The company is run by a very young, dynamic & innovative team of over 1000 people, and is backed by leading global investors such as eBay Inc., Intel Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Nexus Venture Partners and IndoUS Venture Partners.  Role: Brand Manager – Activation (Digital)  Location: New Delhi  Reporting Into: VP Marketing   Direct reports: Events & Occasion Marketing; Website Merchandising; Mobile Merchandising; Design team  Team:   Brand Activation team is a part of the overall Brand Marketing team which is responsible for building and growing Brand Snapdeal, amongst consumers.  This team works in close partnership with various other teams in building equity for the Brand in the digital space by developing and executing the brand marketing plan for all digital properties. The key focus areas for the Digital activation team include:  - Owning the promotion and special events calendar for the brand  - Merchandising of key events/promotions/categories across the key properties of the Website, Mobile Site & App   - Driving the brand language and philosophy across all the internal and external communication in the digital domain  Given the rapid growth of the overall business in the last 2 years, and the aggressive plans for the coming year, this team will be critical to building and growing the Snapdeal brand. Given the importance of Special events and occasions (like Diwali, Valentine’s, Christmas, End of Season sale) to a Retail business, this team will be instrumental in achieving the Revenue targets of the company.  Key Responsibilities:  The key responsibilities of the role include  - Become the custodian of the Brand for all digital properties – Website, Mobile site, Apps, Online communication across various paid marketing channels  - Coordinate with the Brand Marketing team and Category Marketing team in the development and implementation of Annual brand plans  - Conceptualize and implement annual calendar for Special promotions, events and occasion led campaigns   - Drive Merchandising efforts across the website and high visibility properties in order to bring in alignment with the overall brand objectives, and consistency with the communication tone, look and feel  - Lead the coordination and relationship with the agency with creative and communication  - Guide the design and content teams to build and follow templates which resonate with the overall brand theme and identity  - Responsible for monitoring and optimizing the conversion ratios and other metrics for all the key properties where the merchandising is driven by the team   - Developing consumer insights, Driving Communication and creative execution across all the touch points of the consumer in the digital space  - Drive Consumer research and competitive analysis, to measure the effectiveness of the initiatives that are being driven to support the Brand promise  - Interfacing between various business heads and product management teams to drive tactical promotional events and occasion linked events  Requirements:  - Must have excellent relationship building skills and should be able to lead the team  - Should be able to take a lot of initiative and drive innovative campaigns which can be very impactful  - Excellent analytical skills. The candidate should not only be able to execute communication campaigns but also analyse the effectiveness of the same  - Ability to understand the business and marketing objectives of various activities  - Deep understanding of Consumer behaviour and Motivations  Qualification:  - MBA from a Tier I business school  - Atleast 3-6 years of Branding experience  - People from FMCG  Compensation:  - Competitive & will be based on experience
