Voice - SME  Job Description :   Role purpose :  Drive the Product Development activity till Market Launch. This role requires focused and dedicated efforts to plan and manage the design, architecture and implementations for Network, Infra, OSS, BSS and products development functional requirements. This role carries responsibility of designing innovative & cost effective services and driving launch of these services in market.  A number of new products are planned over next few quarters across Mobility, Unified communication (CISCO and Microsoft), AES Servers, SIP, Managed Services, Network Services, and OTT hosted categories.  The key to success will not just be the right implementation but also ensuring the right operating models as these products will be very different operationally vis-a-vis existing products, Evaluate and document emerging technologies, develop procedures to monitor, analyze, recommend network design changes that improve performance, network reliability, while optimizing total cost of ownership.  Core competencies, knowledge and experience :  - 8-10 years experience in product development in a Telco enterprise or at a technology vendor with a telecommunication focus  - Understanding the KEY nuances of the Enterprise Segments and Customer Operations  - Stakeholder Management (External Partners / Internal Business or Operate Users)  - Identify new opportunities and recommend solutions for improving service delivery efficiency and effectiveness; participates in IT initiatives to address service issues; keeps abreast of technical aspects of voice network technologies.  - Experience in handling dynamic, high growth, high-uncertainty environments.  Key accountability and decision ownership :   - Working closely with and actively collaborating with cross functional teams like CS, Tech Ops, IT, Portfolio team, Product Marketing, RA, legal, Segment Sales and other relevant functions to ensure Requirement Gathering, analysis and service, solution design  - High level Understanding of telecom products / services, in Indian as well as global scenario for Fixed, Mobility, Unified Communications, Managed Services  - Demonstrable experience of acting as a - Product Development Manager-   - Regular interlock with Project team on project governance and overall solution design, cost and implementation timelines  - Ensure all services being rolled out are compliant to existing regulations and geared up for new regulatory requirements  - Preparing Project documents like but not limited to plan, requirements document, trace ability matrix, test case documents, reports, updates, risk log, issue log, stakeholder and communication matrix escalation matrix etc  - Ensure Production deployment, Operations handover and Business Simulation of the Product with appropriate documentations in place  - Strong Understanding of Core mobility & Fixed Line network.  - Good understanding of ISDN & SS7 protocol layer.  - Good understanding of mediation and billing systems.  - Knowledge of VAS & SMSC is an added advantage.  - Design and implement voice solutions according to formal enterprise standards.  - Assist in developing strategic and tactical planning of voice environments for internal customers, including discovery and documentation of customer requirements before development, design, and programming.  Nithya Angeline 080-40001320
