DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

FSSG/CTB Division is responsible of the Project Management of the Accounting and Finance department.

PMO team within FSSG/CTB is responsible for:

- Ensure regular follow up on status of various projects within CTB Team from the initial phases till project closure

- Provide status update to various stake holders accurately and in time .Ability to anticipate risk and raise, mitigation/action plan to avoid any delay

- Ensure all deliverables on project which are owned by PMO office is met as per the agreed timelines with global stakeholders

- Establish an ongoing communication channel and develop good relationship with team & stakeholders

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for transition as well as transformation projects from kick off till closure

- Create a clear defined objectives and deadline for various new project

- Tracking the cost and the FTE no's for each projects

- Identifying and resolving the core issues which are hendring/delaying the projects

- Creating and Maintain health analysis of all In flight and new projects

- Tracking the projects from initial stages, till they cross TG4

- Training the new transitions managers on MS project application, stages, documents, approval, procedures required to complete the project

- Maintain the MIS/Dashboards of various projects and report to the top management on the status of the in flight projects

- Creating a case study of the projects which were delayed /cancelled

Project related competencies:

Analysis and Solution Definition

- Financial Services Experience, transition and project management skill sets

- Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of client's organization

- Identifies client organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement.

- Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.

- Project Execution

- Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.

- Takes input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback.

- Communicates and applies project standards.

- Manages resources in accordance with project schedule.

- Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients.

- Understands the components of running a fiscally successful project. (on time, on budget)

Financial Planning / Financial Control Experience

- Balance Sheet Substantiation and analysis.

- Transfer Pricing Computation Knowledge related to Global Income / Cost sharing

- Financial Reporting and Analysis

- Expense Reporting and Closing

- Expense Closure Analysis

- Track and Monitor issues and reconciling items

- Work with onshore stakeholders.

- Manage requirements of Internal / External Auditors

- Process Walkthrough, risk identification and control testing/reporting

- Headcount Reporting

- Management Reporting including preparation of dashboards to senior management

- Budget Planning and variance analysis of Budget vs. actual

- GAAP/ IFRS knowledge

- Strong Knowledge of MS Office Suite

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Required/must have:

- Strong working knowledge of Project management

- Finance/ Accounting knowledge related to FP&A, Financial Control

Desired/Plus:

- Experience in managing complex projects : Project management skills - Budget analysis, FTE analysis, change management

- Good knowledge of financial performance processes in the banking industry.

COMPETENCIES

Required/must have:

- Strong Transition/PMO background

- Candidate should ideally have a BA background along with RtB experience in Financial Planning / Control especially in the banking industry.

- Investment Banking Industry Products Knowledge will be advantageous

- Good Knowledge of the project process

- Communication skills confirmed

- Cooperation and team spirit

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE

Required/must have:

- Minimum experience of 5 years in project management functions as well as RtB role in Financial Planning or Financial Control especially in the banking industry

- Investment Banking Industry experience highly preferred

- Good knowledge of multidimensional applications and global tools

- Business English spoken and written

EDUCATION

Required/must have: Four Year College degree, minimum

PMO Certifications a plus

Desired/Plus: Financial Services Experience, Transition, PMO experience
