Smartwards - Director - Business Development

Smartwards is looking for an enterprising individual to head a 5-10 member sales team out of delhi. We are seeking someone who craves a challenge and is not afraid to work outside their comfort zone.

The objective of the role is to motivate, direct and drive the teams to achieve their KPIs and succeed in their sales objectives.

Responsibilities

- Drive, motivate and mentor a sales team

- Constantly innovate to grow business both on SMB and at an Enterprise level

- Managing a robust sales pipeline and forecasts

- Drive new business acquisition through existing customers

- Identify new markets and develop appropriate sales strategy

- Managing key client stakeholders' relationships (CxO level)

Desired Skills and Experience

- Must possess demonstrable knowledge, proven ability to deliver and proven experience in enterprise SaaS technology or/and CRM

- The proven ability to lead sales opportunities, develop proposals, respond to client needs and lead sales through to successful conclusion

- Extensive relevant experience in industry

- A passion for and a desire to work with a startup
