Job Description

The incumbent shall be responsible for the following:

Primary responsibilities:

- To carry out technical research in the field of accounting and auditing (Statutory and internal audit)

- To exhibit understanding in GAAP - IFRS, US GAAP

- To resolve technical query in relation to accounting, auditing etc with minimum turnaround time

- To track technical developments in the market and implement the same

- To provide training to team members

- To participate in various seminars and forums

- To build and develop on a continuous basis a strong research database

Secondary responsibilities

- To plan for the statutory audit assignments

- Will have to manage a team

- To be a single point of contact for clients

- Coordinate with internal departments within SKP

Desired Candidate Profile

- Chartered Accountant with 1 - 4 years post qualification experience (preferably in a research profile)

- Expert knowledge of accounting, reporting and audit methodology and application of accounting standards and SA?s under Indian GAAP

- Awareness of reporting under IFRS and other GAAPs as may be required for the group reporting for various entities.

- Strong analytical skills

- Self starter with a strong work ethic

- Exposure to ERP environment (Tally, SAP, JDE, etc.)

- Should have good verbal and written communication skills
