Head of Digital Marketing / CMO
Location: Bangalore.
Reporting to the CSO or the CEO
Role Description / Key Responsibilities:
- To head the entire online and digital marketing function
- SCM, SCO, Retargeting and Affiliate marketing
- Customer segmentation and targeting
- Brand Management
- Media and PR
- Brand promotion to corporates and education institutions
- Mobile and Web presence management
- Blogger outreach
- Online community building and management
- Online reputation management
- Online campaign design and management
- Driving web traffic and conversion through referrals, offers, etc.
- Web and mobile and design from a usability perspective
Outcomes:
- Innovation in achieving the minimum Cost per lead, and cost per conversion, CTR, page visits, etc.
- Online reach
- Online conversion
- Brand building and perception
- Online reputation
- Lead generation
- Interlocking with the on-the ground sales to achieve maximum impact
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing selling software solutions, platforms, consulting, educational courses or enterprise software, eCommerce, or B2C retail.
- A minimum of 3 years in online and digital marketing
- Ability to strategize and execute sales plans for new products and launches
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets
- Deep understanding of digital marketing, identifying the target groups, addressing target groups with digital initiatives
- Managing and optimizing cost of sales and customer acquisition.
- Some experience in B2C marketing, Product management and start-ups will be a big advantage
Education: An engineering degree with MBA from a Tier 1 college is a must
