SIS has recently completed a successful IPO.   We are looking for a General Manager - Technology. The overarching role of the GM - Technology would be to lead the company and its various group companies on a path of technology transformation to be ready for the next phase of growth and scale.   The person   - Will have an end to end responsibility for group projects including product definition, scheduling, resource planning and project execution.   - Will work closely with various BU heads and operations teams and group management to understand the existing IT systems, tools and functionalities, processes and chart out the product evolution   - Will have the technical expertise to get his hands dirty and drive delivery of critical business initiatives, managing all aspects of the project from project planning, process improvements, requirements definition, vendor identification, and implementation planning.   - Will work closely with the development teams/ vendors and provide leadership in product architecture and design   - Will be a technical guru on the team, identifying software and hardware solutions and resolving issues creatively   - Mentoring and leading the in-house team and building a strong team for the future   - Will establish, build and manage relationships with third-party technology vendors in order to facilitate delivery of high-quality services   - Will aim for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices taking into account latest technology trends   - Will be required to handle other strategic group level initiatives for Business contingency planning, networks operations, the web and social media presence, infrastructure management, database management etc.   Education and Experience Qualifications   - 15-20 years progressive leadership experience in an IT services delivery/ technology consulting environment   - Technology qualifications from a premier institute   - Should not - just- have a coding background but should have demonstrated - consultancy- expertise and managing multiple stakeholders. Similarly, note that candidates without active coding experience of late and just being a business consultant or a delivery manager etc would also not be the ideal fit. We are looking for people who can also get their hands dirty if so required.   - Should have led a team involved in technology transformation - whether for their own company or for a client   - Experience on working in an Indian environment (and not just offshore expertise with international clients)   - Should be familiar with Dot net; MS SQL, Android, Java etc to manage in-house or external coders   - Ability to understand and work on ERP applications and technology tools/hardware / IT infrastructure would be helpful   - Should be a hands on person; multi-tasker, and still have the ability to see big picture/vision   - Should be a self-starter and possess good and pleasant   Please indicate your current CTC while applying.
