Business Manager-India Sales

The Business Manager or Associate Director would be responsible for managing the entire B2C sales for the assigned products/BU and service fleet to drive greater value for the business. He/she would manage and drive the inside sales and the online sales teams. This role has scope to transition into the Associate Director/Director role.

Key Responsibilities:

- The incumbent will Develops business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.

- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned products.

- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel & vendors in assigned products.

- Analyze all revenue potentials for the assigned products and drive the company towards profitability with the right product & processes To maintain sufficient knowledge and understanding of the key drivers in the sector.

- Managing team of sales & operations Responsible for the performance and development of the Sales Executives.

- Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.

- Strategic planning for B2C Sales, and Delivery Methodologies & customer management based on business requirement

- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis

- Achieve strategic customer objectives defined by company management

- Providing necessary training to the sales force regarding product presentation, institutional dealing and customer handling.

- Define, track and improve key metrics and monitor those metrics. Collate and analyze key daily/weekly/monthly data on various features performance and report key findings.

- Generate new product ideas, enhancements to existing product and collate requests from both internal and external requestor

- Undertake market research and be an expert with respect to the competition

- Evaluate new product opportunities for Company fit & from an audience and technology perspective.

- Analyze internal systems and recommend enhancements to improve productivity

- Work with marketing groups to implement campaigns

The role reports into the Director, where apart from managing the entire sales & service function for the assigned BU, the position also plays a critical role in business strategy development & contributes to business in many cross functional forums.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the Sales domain.

- Online experience would be advantageous

- Service retail experience would be preferred.

- Experience in managing a large sales fleet.

- Experience in managing large BPO /tele-calling sales fleet preferred

- Experience in driving P&L for a BU

- Strong understanding of customer requirements and market dynamics.

- Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams

- MBA (Only Premier Institutes) along with an engineering degree would be preferred.

- Knowledge of data analysis tools is a plus

Compensation Structure:

The structure would be base + variable bonus and is open for negotiation depending on the background and experience of the candidate.
