Who are we-

Simplilearn is one of the largest online education provider in the area of certification training for working professionals, an education tech company based out of Bangalore, India. We compete with the companies like Udemy, Lynda, Pluralsight etc and create compelling user experience to help users learn online. We are heavily funded by leading VCs like Mayfield, Helion Venture partners and Kalaari capitals.

Who are we looking for-

This role would be responsible for managing the entire B2C sales for the assigned products/BU to drive greater value for the business. He/she would manage and drive the inside sales teams. This role has scope to transition into the Associate Director/Director role.

What should you do-

1. Develop the business plan and execute the sales strategy for the assigned market.

2. Complete responsibility for P&L of the assigned product/region.

3. Cost efficient customer acquisition and ensuring high volume of daily transactions.

4. Build & manage a strong sales team with deep understanding of consumer buying, marketing tools, PR and CRM.

5. Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.

6. Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel & vendors in assigned products.

7. Collaborate and provide support to other functional teams to achieve company objectives.

8. Providing necessary training to the sales force on product knowledge, institutional dealing and customer handling.

9. Define, track and improve key metrics. Collate and analyze key daily/weekly/monthly data on various performance parameters and report key findings.

10. Generate new product ideas, enhancements to existing product and collate requests from both internal and external requestor.

11. Undertake market research and be an expert with respect to the competition.

12. Analyze internal systems and recommend enhancements to improve productivity.

13. Coordinate with marketing team to execute the online marketing strategies for lead generation and sales.

The role reports into the Director, where apart from managing the entire sales & service function for the assigned BU, the position also plays a critical role in business development strategy.

What do we look for in you-

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Sales domain.

2. B2C sales experience would be preferred.

3. Strong analytical abilities & good interpersonal skills.

4. Experience in managing a large sales / tele-calling team.

5. Experience in driving P&L for a BU.

6. Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.

7. MBA (Only Premier Institutes) along with an engineering degree would be preferred.
