Title: Associate Director - Enterprise sales
Job summary:
The job requires the candidate to take on a very entrepreneurial role of setting up and scaling Simplilearn's enterprise (B2B) sales business for the US market. The job would require the candidate to:
- Setup and scale enterprise (B2B) sales team for the US Business unit at Simplilearn
- Define, implement and continuously improve sales processes for this team
- Driving lead generation and lead management
- Handle key client interactions, achieve sales closure and own the sales execution process
- The candidate will have individual and team targets
- Work closely with senior management and other key stakeholders for giving direction to the enterprise sales business
- The profile requires the candidate to work in night shifts
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Preparing short-term and long-term sales plans, sales approaches and strategies, find opportunities to develop business in multiple market segments
- Setup a robust market research process within the team to identify target market
- Equip the team to perform articulated & knowledgeable outbound sales calls, presentations, demonstrations and electronic communication to prospects in order to acquire new business for Simplilearn?s training business
- Identify corporate customer needs and develop specific proposals along with corporate pricing & other terms.
- Achieve higher per account yield by enlarging the contact base within the corporate account by reaching out to more departments & divisions
- Relationship management for key accounts would be a direct responsibility
- Own the reporting and MIS responsibilities for the team
Essential requirements:
- 6-12 years of sales experience, with at least 4 years in enterprise sales for US market
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales objectives
- Ability to navigate corporate organizations to identify decision-makers
- Exceptional listening, verbal and e-mail communication skills
- Reliable, strong work ethic and ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Quick learner, adaptable to changing business needs
- Willing to challenge the status quo and achieve business results
- Prior experience of working in an e-commerce/internet companies is preferred
- Willingness to work in night shift
