The company was founded by 3 IIT-Bombay graduates and has grown to a 60-member strong team.  Shopsense is launching a new B2C mobile shopping product and looking to hire young enthusiastic talent for an exciting journey ahead. The product launch is scheduled for October 2015 and therefore, you will be involved in building the product from scratch and the opportunities to grow and learn will be infinite.  The Team  The Sr. Creative Writer is part of the Marketing Team, whose role is to build a large audience and consumer pool for the product. This team is single handedly responsible for planning and executing outreach programs and initiatives to create one of the most popular consumer internet products in the country.  As a Sr. Creative Writer, you are responsible for all aspects of the written content that go into all our communication touch points which lead to greater product adoption through digital channels. You report directly to the VP - Marketing.  Roles & Responsibilities  - Teaming up with inter-departmental peers to create high quality copy that delights consumers  - Write expert, branded copy in a distinct voice that resonates with our consumers  - Use data to identify opportunities to improve customer delight  - Maintain important trends in shopping/fashion and disseminate pertinent information to team and extended creative staff  - Actively partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as key stakeholders, PR, creative, national advertising, go-to-market and individual campaign teams to ensure a consistent message and focus across all consumer touch points  - Build organization capability (team and knowledge) to create India's best and most effective customer delight programs  Requirements  - A great understanding and a strong interest in the retail/eCommerce sector, brand awareness and retail trends  - Excellent communication, creative and interpersonal skills  - Ability to work in multi-departmental teams and take feedback  - 1-3 years work experience in consumer internet company or marketing agency in India  - A lifestyle writing background is preferred  HR Team
