Designation : Assistant Manager - Finance & Taxation  Location : Gurgaon   What you will be part of :  Finance and Taxation Team :  Team manages the entire gamut of day to day operations of finance and taxation primarily includes :  - Cash and Fund Management  - Payments to vendors and merchants  - Ensure timely collections of receivables  - Ensure all the tax compliances and payments (Direct and Indirect)  - Preparation of monthly MIS  - We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in Indirect Tax and Finance, who is well verse with VAT and service tax laws with basic accounting and finance knowledge. Working knowledge of Tally 9 and NAV would be an added advantage.  What you will be responsible for :  - Ensure all compliances related to Service tax and VAT compliances including but not limited to filing of returns, payment of taxes etc.   - Prepare responses to any statutory notice  - Provide key inputs and value add to services pricing keeping in mind the input credit and other tax provisions  - Build adequate controls around the tax compliance to ensure there are no slippages.  - Work on day to day finance operations including revenue recognition  - Work as a part of MIS team  - Regular updates on GST and implementation of GST as and when it rolls out.  Who are we looking for :   - 1 year post qualification experience with a Tier-1 tax firm or service industry  - Hands on experience of Service Tax and VAT   - Proficient in Microsoft excel and Tally 9.0  - Strong analytical skills for MIS reporting   - Strong communication skills - verbal and written  Know About Us :  - Founded in 2011 by Silicon Valley professionals, ShopClues is an Internet Commerce company focused on a managed marketplace business in India.
