Sheersha Learning Solutions - Consultant - Analytics

Position Purpose :

- This role requires implementing SAS solutions at a client / off-site under the guidance of a Project Manager. You will work closely with consultants from SAS India.

Skills Required :

- A degree in Engineering (any discipline) or Statistics or Econometrics, Post Graduate in Management will be an added advantage.

- Superior technical understanding of analytical techniques like Linear/Logistic Regression, Clustering, Segmentation, Decision Tree, Neural Network, Principal Component Analysis, Singular Value Decomposition is required.

- Hands-on experience on various SAS tools like SAS Text Miner, SAS Sentiment Analysis Studio, SAS Enterprise Miner, SAS Visual Analytics & SAS Enterprise Guide would be preferred.

- Prior experience of having worked on projects in implanting analytical solutions using other tools like R, SPSS, Python, Hadoop will also be considered.

- Excellent communication & management skills.

- Proactive & self leaner.

Job Description :

- Deliver and Implement Analytical Solutions (includes, but is not limited to: Data Mining, Statistics, Forecasting, Optimization and Mathematical Programming)

- Translates business case into quantifiable deliverables by virtue of business domain knowledge.

- Translates deliverables into analytical techniques on the basis of statistical / optimization knowledge.

- Translates the above techniques into solution architecture.

- Scoping, dependency analysis, and effort estimate for the above.

- Contributes to successful project delivery (by coding program modules with defined deliverables, performing testing and software implementations under supervision, and developing system and user documentation).

- Initiate & support development of new analytics solutions.
