Job Description:  - This role is part of an investment fund initiated by the Director's Office  - The position has two main roles: first one is to source deals in the startup domain. And second being the ability to strategically evaluate the businesses of potential target investment companies   - Role will require participation / networking with start-up founders & other VC/Angels to gauge latest investment trends.   Evaluating the business plans and work on business valuations   - Due diligence, market analysis, and some valuation work with focus on "origination"   - Business plan analysis, executing transactions, analysing interesting industry sub- sectors   - Identifying prospective investment opportunities by monitoring industry sources of deal flow and data (eg. DowJones Venture Source, VentureWire, Primack Term Sheet, CrunchBase, etc.);  - Proactively network and undertake the sourcing of potential deals that are aligned with the Group's overall vision  - Build, maintain and update an exhaustive database of funding deals and transactions within the target sectors  - Conduct initial deal screening and analysis   - Evaluate investment opportunities through reviews of business plans, management team meetings, internal business documents, etc.  Desired Skills:   - Experience in a business analytics / advisory firm  - Graduate/Post Graduate degree from a reputed Institute  - Passion for identifying promising high- growth businesses  - Exceptional critical thinking and both quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems  - Superior communication and interpersonal skills  To know more about us you can visit: www.scsindia.co.in.
