These managers must ensure that IT audit practices comply with company procedures and government regulations. IT audit managers don't just point out system flaws; they also promote efficient practices by recommending improvements in processing capability, user interface, and security designs.  A significant portion of this job deals with evaluating IT accounting practices to trace a company's resources. As managers implement auditing policies, they make sure that their institution has adequate technology and system controls to meet business objectives and customer needs.  Responsible for monitoring IT systems to ensure they follow policies and practices. They must evaluate technology, manage staff, identify controls, and keep records. In addition to monitoring IT systems, IT audit managers act as mentors so each IT staff team member has the proper expertise. They ensure that staff has a solid understanding of auditing procedures and necessary independence to conduct their own investigations. IT audit managers compile a vast array of data into a coherent report for the audit committee.  1. Directs and/or performs reviews of and/or assist in the identification, documentation, evaluation and enhancement of the company's IT, financial and operational internal controls.   2. Take ownership and accountability for the internal audit of allocated auditable areas; including IT general and application control reviews for areas allocated to process auditors in the performance of integrated audits;   3. Perform various audits (IT/Financial and Operational) at corporate and subsidiary locations (this position may require some domestic travel).   4. Compilation of process documentation, performance of interviews/walkthroughs, execution of audit testing, and documentation of results/deficiencies. Prepares audit finding memoranda and working papers to ensure that adequate documentation exists to support the completed audit and conclusions.   5. Prepares and presents written and oral audit reports and other technical information in a pertinent, concise, and accurate manner for distribution to management and/or Audit Committee.   6. Assist in the development of a combined assurance approach and work with, and co-ordinate work with external audit, when required  7. Performs general and application control reviews for simple to complex computer information systems.  8. Performs information control reviews to include system development standards, operating procedures, system security, programming controls, communication controls, backup and disaster recovery, and system maintenance.  9. Maintains and develops computerized audit software.  10. Consults with and advises administrators, faculty, and staff on various operational issues related to computerized information systems, and on general business operations as needed.  11. Follows up on audit findings to ensure that management has taken corrective action(s).  12. Coordinates and interacts with external auditors, administrators, faculty, staff and law enforcement officials as appropriate; may be required to testify in court.  13. Assists and trains other audit staff in the use of computerized audit techniques, and in developing methods for review and analysis of computerized information systems.  14. Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.  15. Conduct operational, compliance, financial and investigative audits, as assigned.  16. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.  Salary offered: 10 - 12 LPA  Kirti
