Title: Manager - Business Development   Reporting to: DGM - Portfolio & Licensing   Team Size: none   Location: Gurgaon   Industry: Candidate should be from Pharma industry only   Qualification: MBA   Experience: 2-3 years of experience in Portfolio Management & Licensing   Role:   - Identification and evaluation of new products and new market expansion opportunities in Europe (EU)   - To research emerging opportunities in ophthalmic or other therapeutic areas by studying the portfolio and pipeline of the Innovator companies, market trends etc.   - To study IMS and other related market data sources by products, pricing, volume, and competitors etc. for preparation of business cases.   - Provide inputs for preparation of 5-10 year strategic road map   - To work with cross functional teams of IPR, PD, GS, Finance, Regulatory etc. for building business cases.   - To study competitive landscape for and devise correct positioning strategies   - To ready business cases incorporating make-vs-buy decision making.   - To participate in preparation and maintenance of global portfolio in line with company strategy and business plans.   - To evaluate products for in-licensing in various markets by studying medical trends, current product portfolio and competitors activities.   - To participate in negotiation of business terms and conditions   - Identify new product ideas, complete evaluation and gain acceptance on such ideas.   - Monitor development, approval and production of the new products   - To coordinate internally to ensure timely new product launch   - Monitor the performance of new products vis a vis to the plan   - To evaluate opportunities to acquire products, brands and/or companies.   - Participate in evaluation process in line with company objectives   - To participate in budgeting process   - Brings in outside in perspective for new technology development, communicates with R&D   Skills and Competencies required:   - Knowledge portfolio Management   - Knowledge of in-licensing   - Knowledge of budgeting process   - Knowledge of mergers & Acquisition   - Business Acumen   - Planning & Monitoring   - Attention to Detail   - Result Orientation   - Interpersonal Skills   - Analytical Skills   - Good communication and interpersonal skills.   - Candidate should be M.Pharma/MBA with 3-5 yrs of experience.
