Should have 10-15 yrs of experience.

Should be only from pharma industry.

Reporting to Vice President - Supply Chain

Reported by 3-4 people

Following will be the job description

Purchase :

- Reduction in Purchase lead time

- Purchases within time as per Material Resource Planning (MRP)

- Adequate inventory of RM & PM as per defined norm

CAPEX :

- AMC & Services

- Consumables and Chemicals

Sourcing:

- Identify the sourcing API, Excipients etc

- Negotiation with vendors

- Availability of material on time

Vendor Management:

- Define Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for vendors

- Alternate Vendor Development

- Payables on time

Cost improvement plans:

- Input cost reduction

- Annual cost reduction plan

- Reduction in Standard Order Quantity (SOQ) and just in time planning

- Outsourcing of Finished Goods (FGs) for identified markets:

- Suitable partner identification and registration

- Execution and supply as per plan

- Vendor qualification and GMP compliance through CFT support ( QA & RA)

Should have the following skills :

- Sourcing of USP Grade API

- Sourcing of EP grade API

- Sourcing of Excipients

- Capital Equipment Purchase experience

- CML Contract Management Experience

- Buying of Consumables etc

- Excellent knowledge of Regulatory for US, EU & RU & CIS Countries

- Excellent Negotiation Skills

- Supplier Relationship Management

- Communication Skills
