The Senior Vice President- Credit Analysis Unit has Global Accountability for provision of all offshore deliverables for managing a highly skilled workforce of qualified staff. This position reports directly to Global Head for Credit Analysis Unit and plays an important role in supporting the global team. This role involves managing operations teams spread across Bangalore, Kolkata, Kuala Lampur and Guangzhou.

Some key attributes of the role:

- This is a senior leadership role that involves management of teams within the GSC as an independent business while maintaining a focus across both people and process management objectives. The role involves independently managing the function, its people (c250 staff) and contingency plans across multiple sites.

- The CAU function in GSC comprises several teams of professionals engaged in complex credit risk analysis covering Corp and FIG/Funds portfolios. This role is expected to manage this highly complex process requiring not only management skills but also in depth understanding of the GBM business and clients.

- The role involves providing inputs on strategy, drawing up and implementing strategic initiatives for the CAU and contributing to the overall goals of Banking Middle Office.

- Working with the Global Head of CAU to optimise the model between the Banking Coverage teams, Client Management in BMO, Service Delivery, CAU units onshore and the offshore CAU teams.

- The job holder will be required to work closely with Service Delivery to ensure quality and efficiency between the CARM preparation, spreading, post-sanction and documentation teams in Service Delivery and the CAU team.
