Senior Vice President - Transaction Advisory & PPP Practice - Investment Bank

We have been retained by a boutique Investment Banking House to identify suitable candidates for the Transaction Advisory and PPP vertical.

THE JOB

The Company has a three year perspective plan drawn up to address growth issues and financial engineering services for mid Market Companies headquartered in South India. The focus is on building long term relationships and be seen as a reliable transaction Advisor in the implementation of clients strategic plans.

A second focus area is in deepening the current level of PPP Advisory Services. The Company has excellent credibility with the State Governments and foresees a growth in their advisory services in the years to come.

The ideal candidate should have proven skills in the above two areas, and be able to run the verticals independently. In addition exposure to (1) Tax and Regulatory, (2) Strategic Consulting would be preferred.

REQUIRED SKILL SETS

The top three proven skills sets that are sought are:

Proficiency in identifying, sourcing, structuring and negotiating Corporate Finance deals

Extensive functional experience - through entire transaction cycle from securing mandate to deal closure

Develop points-of-view, research or white papers, support development of marketing collateral, and publish in industry periodicals.

PAST EXPERIENCE

A minimum 7 years of relevant work experience post an MBA (from a leading Institution) or a ranking CA is required. It would be preferable if the prospect has worked in a Big 4 Consulting before branching out into the IB/ Finance space. Proven delivery of handling complex mandates from origination is critical.
