Description

Reporting to the Head of the Centre, you shall be responsible for :

- Leading a team that manages monthly, quarterly and year end close to ensure timely and accurate reporting in coordination with regional finance teams

- Ensuring that all local accounting, reporting, tax, closing and finance matters are in line with both local regulations and group policies

- Assisting Country Heads to as an advisor to coordinate with other departments in dealing with finance related practices

- Leading Regional Finance teams to develop and document efficient and effective controls on processes that are consistent across subsidiaries

- Being In charge of the relationships with external providers: insurance, audit firms, accounting firms and legal advisors

- Managing and reviewing the preparation of all journal and lead as a subject matter expert to ensure financial reporting accuracy and completeness

- Supporting external and internal audits as necessary

- Coordinating with legal firms for reviewing lease contracts, board resolution, vendor management and all legal issues

Profile :

- CA with over 15 years of post-qualification experience in financial control, consolidations, reporting and audits

- Sound understanding of laws and statutory regulations pertaining to financial management, accounting, audit, compliance, taxation, accounting standards

- Proven track record of influencing individuals to drive results
