The role:

The Senior Talent Acquisition Lead will in partnership with site Business HR, support and manage all recruitment activities for all a number of European businesses. The Senior Talent Acquisition Lead supports multiple departments (commercial, corporate, manufacturing) driving full-cycle recruiting efforts from requirement definition through to offer negotiation and hire using ATS Workday.

All services are delivered within the model, technology and methodologies and require knowledge of Healthcare market, Corporate business operations and the ability to translate business needs into recruitment strategies and actions. This position ensures that high quality-standards are met in hiring practices, measured against KPIs (Time to fill, Hiring Manager satisfaction survey, new hire satisfaction survey, quality of slate, cost savings etc.,)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop a complete understanding of each client business objectives and strategy

- Consult with hiring managers and Business HR to understand skill requirements, background and experience needed for each requisition

- Work with hiring managers to develop a comprehensive internal and external recruitment strategy for each requirement, setting and manages expectations

- Identification and execution of appropriate sourcing medium to attract suitable candidates, in addition to fully utilising all internal Abbott resources.

- Championing introduction of and use of Social, Digital and Mobile media as recruitment tools.

- Source, screen and manage candidates throughout the process providing feedback at all stages

- Ensure structured/competency based interview process is followed for each hiring requirement, running assessment centre as and when required.

- Salary negotiation and management of offer process ensuring contract issued in line with company procedure.

- Conduct reference checks

- Creating effective relationships with new and existing recruitment agencies, maintaining PSL to control recruitment costs, ensuring fixed terms and conditions are in place

- Ensure ATS (Workday) is maintained providing reporting as and when required.

- Implement and manage the company's Employee Referral Policy

- Provides strategic market data and market research

- Identifies and resolves issues pro-actively

- Where necessary Preparation of recruitment budget for each business comprising media strategy, referrals, recruitment agencies, recruitment fairs, websites, recruitment merchandising, social media, direct sourcing, etc.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

- Master degree or equivalent in Human Resources

- Fluent English language skills are required, another language would be an asset

- Strong track record of direct sourcing, recruiting in the Healthcare, not mandatory though

- Strong assessment skills to assess candidate's business capabilities, technical background and key behaviors

- Strong skills in driving and owning the TA process ensuring candidate and client management satisfaction.

- Professional, accountable, high energy and collaborative team player

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure and changing environment

- Competitive drive, strong work ethic. Motivation to learn, grow and succeed

- Ability to build professional relations across all levels of the business, including business acumen with Senior Executives
