Senior Sales Specialist - Risk Management Solutions

Responsibilities

Act as an expert on our risk management platform, specifically Enterprise Risk Management

Revenue Target achievement for Risk Solutions. Build pipeline and ensure timely closure of deals

Participate in qualification of risk sales opportunities

Present and demo risk products

In depth understanding of Third party Risk, Operational Risk and Regulatory Compliance

Design cross product and cross functional business solutions for complex opportunities

Work on proof-of-concepts, configurations and setups to tailor the solution to clients requirements in the pre-sales process

Identify key business changes in risk and provide inputs to product management for the product roadmap

Follow up on the demos/workshops, answer client questions, provide inputs all along in the sales lifecycle

Present at customer conferences and industry conferences; perform domain research and write reports

Delivers profitable outright, consulting & subscription revenue for selected solutions, products & services

Accountable for all stages of an opportunity from lead generation to closely aligning tightly with the overall account strategy owned by the account manager

Expert in customer business workflow providing domain expertise relative to solution proposition

Background & Skills

Post graduate degree in engineering, business, finance or marketing

Minimum 8 years experience in the Financial IT services market, gained either directly with financial institutions, or working with a software vendor, technology or consultancy company serving these institutions. At least 3 years experience in financial risk management space.

Strong risk management domain skills; expert level knowledge in the following domains: third party risk, operational risk and regulatory compliance

Good understanding of financial products across all asset classes

Knowledge of best practices in Risk management technology infrastructure, approaches and processes

A team player who can lead by example; highly motivated, self-starter and autonomous

Aggressive approach towards target achievement

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

A good standard of spoken and written English and presentation skills
