Senior Role - Sales & Business Development - IT Sales/BPO Sales (7-20 yrs)

Few must have requirements -

- Candidates who have sales target of their own ( not roll up targets)

- Looking for people who have experience of Sales ( from lead generation to deal closure) in either IT services i.e. custom development, application maintenance, IT staffing OR in BPO sales to mortgage banks. Candidates with IT sales experience in selling & implementing packages like SAP, Oracle, or any such hugely popular solutions are not relevant.

- Looking for on ground field sales people not people who manage the Sales people in Big companies. We would rather prefer hands on sales people who work for small to medium size companies where brand name does not get them easy access to clients

Role Description :

Purpose of Role :

- As the company embarks on the next phase of growth and operations expansion, company is seeking to expand its footprint both geographically - APAC, UK, US, India, Middle East as well as in terms of IT and BPO Service offerings.

- The incumbent of the role is expected to help company enter or expand in the said geographical markets or service offerings (Managed services, IT application development & maintenance, BPM, Solutions etc.).

- The incumbent will own the P&L for his/her area of expertise and will have complete revenue generation responsibility for the geographical or product/services area.

Key Result Areas :

- Business / Market development

- Own the deal right from lead generation to deal closure

- Market assessment and provide inputs from market to senior management, marketing and IT /Engineering team to develop the services and position them appropriately in the market

- Sales planning & strategy to generate target revenue and get new logos

Key attributes of the incumbent :

- Experienced Sales & Business development professional with strong relationships in a particular domain, sector or geographical area.

- Should have been working on the ground and should be a great deal maker

- Aptitude and temperament of an entrepreneur who can proactively approach clients and take an opportunity from a possibility to a deal

- Innovative thinker

- Leadership skills to be able to establish oneself as the strongest voice & respected leader within the organization including effective communication skills, persuasion skills etc.

- Ability to work under pressure

- Flexibile in terms of working time & role definitions/responsibilities and willing to go extra mile as needed to produce effected results as expected from this role
