Senior Role - Product Management - IIT/NIT/BITS - BFSI

Product Management role for a new Product team that is being set for a Fortune 500 Financial Services company.

Only candidates from IITs/NITs and candidates with a Masters degree from a premium business school in India or overseas would be considered. A Masters' degree is not a requirement.

This is a very entrepreneurial role which requires a good mix of technical expertise and business understanding. The individual gets the opportunity to set up a Product team within a larger ecosystem and build his/her success story. The organization has a strong Analytics/Big Data management team and therefore the incumbent needs to be able to make sense of all the data that is available and create solutions and products that could be implemented at a global scale.

Broad KRAs

- Product development of data products across business divisions and geographies.

- Creatively explore data and emerging technologies as the basis for products that learn and adapt to consumers- needs.

- Proven work experience in managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle. The ideal candidate would have conceptualized a product based on market intelligence and after overseeing all aspects of the development, would have implemented it for the target audience.

- Solid technical background with hands-on experience in software development and web technologies

- Strong problem solving skills and skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization

- Responsible for managing technology in projects and providing technical guidance / solutions for work completion

- Lead the execution of the development pipeline and delivery of the software products to QA, and ultimately Production

- Manage the day-to-day activities of the development team(s) and ensure the coordination of individual team deliverables is synchronized as necessary to achieve product releases

- Working closely with the functional team and translate both project goals and customer feedback into Epics and Stories, which can be worked in an agile manner

- Develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity

- Ensure adherence of process compliance and quality standards

- Responsible for code review, debugging, production deployment and follow coding best practices

- Manage timelines and resources (internal and external)
