Domain : Procurement / Analytics

Work Location : Kolkata

Experience : 10 - 18 years (Overall)

Key Responsibilities :

- Strong understanding of financial industry and good business and technical knowledge in procurement, sourcing or related functional areas.

- Ability to translate and interpret client business strategies to clarify direction for self and/or team and to gauge impact on current and future projects.

- Understands how to link data and business strategy to create business insights and intelligence via evaluation.

- Collaborates with Stakeholders and Procurement leadership to determine and prioritize immediate information requirements, drive solution build, challenge existing metrics and methodology, drive design of analytic tools and solutions, consult on data and infrastructure build, provide justification for new projects and cost investments and drive change in the organization through insights and bench marking.

- Manages analytic team towards the integration of external and internal data to support analytics and be accountable for delivery of key projects.

- Consult on key business questions, scope analytical approaches to address.

- Develop and drive best practices across the teams in the assigned function.

- Demonstrate strong project management abilities in delivering large and complex projects as well as be an effective people leader.

- Train team on technical and communication skills.

- Provide technical and business thought leadership to multiple teams.

Qualifications :

- Relevant years in analytics with a proven track record of developing and leading analytical solution.

- Client/Account Management experience and leading large sized consultative projects.

- Knowledge of in any one or combination of tools such as SAS, Excel, VBA, Qlikview, Tableau, Statistical software

- Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.

- Strong track record of managing and leading large teams.

- Exceptionally strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.

- Masters in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research or equivalent quantitative fields.
