Senior Recruiter - Leadership Hiring (4-6 yrs)
Responsibilities:
- Partnering with hiring managers to identify key recruiting needs and utilizing effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Recruit candidates through a variety of means such as professional associations, competing organizations, job fairs, conferences, cold calling.
- Manage interviewing and hiring process to ensure high quality hires and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Manage the entire recruiting life cycle from candidate generation through direct sourcing, interviewing, influencing hiring decisions, initiating background check, making compensation recommendation, salary negotiations, offer extension and closing candidates.
- Produce status reports indicating recruiting activity, costs, and candidate status. Assist managers in the development of job descriptions and recruiting requisitions on an as-needed basis.
- Work with team members/management to identify process improvements and make recommendations for change.
- Provide advice and coaching to management on recruiting matters.
Key Result Areas:
- Successfully recruit and hire candidates within hiring timeline.
- Reduce cost per hire by increasing direct hires and minimizing use of agency.
- Source high quality candidates through the development and implementation of innovative recruiting programs and strategies.
- Partner with hiring managers to determine, recommend and help them understand hiring objectives based on the firm's hiring process.
- Develop strategic sourcing strategies and programs that will develop a pipeline of candidates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- A minimum of three years experience as a Senior Recruiter handling senior-level recruitment.
- Proven experience driving the recruiting process, with accountability for meeting weekly and monthly hiring goals.
- Successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be a strategic thinker and a self-starter.
- Must be able to work independently and resolve complex issues using sound business judgment.
- Ability to partner with VP level hiring managers, providing a consultative approach to hiring strategy.
- Background in a financial services environment is highly desirable.
