Job Description: Sr. Project/Program Manager

Client Description: Large IT Product software company focusing on Banking vertical

Yrs of exp : 7-14 yrs

Location : Mumbai

Necessary criteria:

1. Should have managed team size of 20 members or more

2. Strong exposure to Commercial Banking sector clients is a MUST

3. Knowledge of core banking software or bank-risk management software

4. Exposure to projects involving Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing

5. Must have overseen atleast 4 complete project cycles

The Sr. Project/Program Manager is responsible for providing overall IT services delivery for development and support projects for the Corporation under the aegis of Program Management group

The Sr. Project/Program Manager would manage the operations of the project management office with an aim to ensuring the projects are executed in a consistent, effective manner that is aligned with industry best practices.

The delivery of IT services would be set based on standards of the highest order of quality, schedule and communication processes and policies. This is expected to ensure a consistent delivery with the optimal use of resources .

Technical thought leadership with the ability to embrace new delivery models, estimation methodologies, resource management and practice development would be some key attributes of the Delivery Director.

Responsibilities :

The Sr. Project/Program Manager has the responsibility to:

Lead the delivery of the projects and provide vision and leadership for defining, developing and implementing new IT initiatives

Manage all the projects portfolio throughout the system development life cycle (SDLC) of various application development projects. This includes needs analysis, costing, design, development and implementation.

Provide leadership and direction for the design, development and implementation of standards in coding, testing, support and maintenance.

The role is responsible for global service delivery function for the entire organization including:

Ownership of client service delivery, quality and customer satisfaction.

Delivery team management.

Team development, hiring, cross skilling & retention.

Complete ownership of delivery metrics live revenue, cost of delivery & Gross margins.

Service improvements and quality management.

Client relationships and stakeholder management.
