TSI PMO team needs more resources to successfully accomplish this activity.   Key Duties & Responsibilities :  - Responsible for portfolio/program management for multiple mission critical projects that will require matrix management of project activities across all participating functional areas. Project assignments could be broad in nature requiring conceptualization and initiatives  - Plan and supervise activities for multiple small and large-scale projects. Initiate and drive project planning activities such as Statement of Work and Management (WBS, Project Change Control, SOW), Stakeholder Identification and matrix Human Resource Management, Risk & Issues Management, Communication Management, project financials, and regular project status reporting  - Set and manage Portfolio / Program expectations ensuring all applicable functional areas are engaged in the programs   - Management, Communication Management, project financials, and regular project status reporting  - Prepare and conduct informal and formal presentations dependencies and critical path  - Create and maintain a project schedule for each project by identifying and monitoring resource estimates, overall project timeline, project milestones, task dependencies and critical path  Critical Requirement (Max of 4) :  - Control and track project performance with respect to Time, Cost, and Quality by constantly evaluating project progress, conducting regular team status meetings, reporting project status on periodic basis to management and the project team, executing and updating management plans as necessary, resolving issues and maintaining documentation  - Initiate and drive project planning activities such as Statement of Work and Management (WBS, Project Change Control, SOW), Stakeholder Identification and matrix Human Resource Management, Risk & Issues   - Create and maintain a project schedule for each project by identifying and monitoring resource estimates, overall project timeline, project milestones, task. Person should have strong IT Infra background - Knowledge in areas of technology infrastructure or more (Servers, Virtualization, Databases, Storage & Networks)  - Excellent communication, presentation and conflict management skills  Identify the cognitive requirements of the position :  - Analytical: is the ability to analyze and evaluate ideas, solve problems and make decisions.  - Creative: this involves insights, synthesis and the ability to react to novel situations and stimuli.  - Practical: this involves the ability to grasp, understand and deal with everyday tasks.  Key Results / Objectives for first 120 Days (Quality of Hire) :  1. What are we expecting a person to complete in the first 120 days-   In the first 90-120 days, the Senior Project Manager will be assigned to multiple projects and expected to demonstrate Project Leadership capabilities from scoping through closure. Additional projects will be assigned as previous projects are completed.  The Senior Project Manager is accountable for:  - Quickly documenting and ensuring agreement upon the project scope, assimilating the team and developing a project schedule for completion of the project  - Ensuring that all stakeholders and team members are kept up to date on project status, issues and dependencies through effective communication methods  - Driving project team to meet deliverables on time and on budget, including participation in technical discussions and problem-solving sessions as required to achieve the project outcomes  - Prepare and conduct informal and formal presentations  - Identify opportunity areas for process improvements and optimize  Help the recruiting team position the role in the best light.
