For our client, a top, well funded e-commerce portal, we are looking for Senior Product Managers at MUMBAI.  Position/Role Description:  Manage the development of upcoming products and drive new product initiatives. In the long run you will be required to alternate between managing an internal development team and managing a subcontractor. You will thus wear the hat of a programme manager or a product manager as per business needs.  Fundamentally you will be the single point of contact between a Category Head and the team which develops and/or delivers the product. The role requires dual reporting, with a dotted line to the Category head and a direct line to the Head of Programme Management. As one category evolves you will get re-assigned to another or get shared between the two.   You must be a very very good communicator, highly organised, a strategic thinker and exceptionally detail oriented.  Required Experience  - Min 3+ years in a Product Management role with hand-on experience in:  - Determining the product design, development effort and negotiating timeframes with stakeholders  - Creating functional and UI specifications, user profiles and wire frames  - Generating and maintain product documentation  - Proven track record of launching and optimizing products on the Android and iOS platforms  - Experience in leading at least one Android or iOS end-consumer product  - In-depth understanding of Web technologies and Design Concepts is desirable   OR  - Min 3+ years in Programme Management for a company developing or delivering products or services online  - 1+ years in product development  Other Notes:  - You must be highly customer focused  - You must have experience of managing a young team  - have a hands-on approach   - able to cope with the day-to-day challenges on a very fast growing company
