Sr Manager - Transition Management (F&A Domain) for MNC BPO for Hyderabad
Position Title : Sr Manager - Transition
Description About : The Role & Key Responsibilities :
Day to day transition planning & management (including escalations and issues/risk management) :
- Own end to end project management plan Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitor and Control and Completion or closure of Project
- Understand the Transition Plan, focus on timelines and assumptions & seek clarifications if any
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- Project planning estimating timelines, costs, resource requirements and execution
- Create detailed RACI matrix at the planning stages with all cross-functional team members
- Track day-to-day tasks as per project plan, highlight risks & put in place mitigation action plans
- Establish governance and meeting cadence with customers and cross-functional teams
- Validate output by functions before it's sent to customer, e.g.: Training plans, SOP tracker etc.
- Prepare Tollgate report - out docs & own completion of all tollgate deliverables including travel and site readiness
- Escalate pending activities as per escalation matrix for the project
- Maintain Action, issue, risk logs and keep the teams updated about changes in status through proactive communication
- Coordinate with customer PMO - on dependencies, risks & issues
- Manage relationships with the customer stakeholders & also internal teams throughout
- Support the TL in running transition workshops - both for internal stakeholders and clients
- Schedule calls as per governance matrix and prepare materials for calls as relevant
- Work with Client Project Manager and other teams to ensure that all contractual milestones and deliverables related to transition projects are met
- Work with cross-functional teams, and take them as one team to close all transition deliverables
Adherence to Transition Policies & Procedures :
- Create project on Common Minimum Practices (CMP) tool, schedule CMP calls and drive closure.
- Create project on Gentrac (project management tool), monitor & maintain latest status of project
- Initiate Change Request as relevant and as discussed with TL
- Trigger VoC (customer/ stakeholder feedback) survey roll out post tollgate signoff; share scores with entire project team
- Keep TL apprised of any exceptions that are due to arise in Deal Book and act as guided for exception approval
- Adhere to the agreed transition budget
Reporting and Knowledge sharing :
1. Ensure daily status reporting during critical phases of transition to client and Internal stakeholders on actual progress against target
2. Create specific learning & best practice documents, review with TL, and share through collaboration platform (GLUE)
3. Provide data for projects for monthly reporting - First Time Right & functional metrics
4. Prepare weekly review deck
Request For Proposal/RFP - working under Transition Leader (TL) supervision :
- Gather inputs from SME as per discussion with TL
- Work closely with the business leaders to understand their needs and participate in Solution Identification
- Create first level transition plan and cost, review with TL, and make changes as required
- Create summary view of costs as per requirement (by tower, by region, or any other cut)
- Draft responses to relevant RFP questions; review all output with concerned TLs
- Work on transition solution - in terms of cost, plan & migration strategy
Key Competencies Required :
- Project Management - Possess an understanding of project management processes and procedures and must adhere to Genpact transition toolkit deliverables; capability to evaluate and articulate the impact of the identified risks on the project & AOI
- Risk Management - Proactively identify potential risks, understand & assess implications of identified risk, recommend mitigation plan and owners
- Results/ Action- orientation - Display attention to detail, accuracy of work, sense of responsibility toward work and ability to accomplish projects and tasks in a timely manner
- Client Engagement - Has strong relationship building skills and Customer-Service Orientation; understand clients- needs & business contingencies ; handle internal & external stakeholders

Required Work Experience :
- 5 - 7 years of experience in a relevant field and relevant multinational companies
- At least 2-3 years of hardcore Project management/ active Transitions experience
- Exposure to project management tools and technologies; familiarity with any of the major ERP platforms (e.g. SAP or Oracle)
- Experience in engaging into strategic and tactical discussion with senior stakeholders to sell the product offering
Required Educational Background :
- University graduate ; Post- Graduation degree preferable
- Technical background - Preferable Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI or equivalent certification

This role requires work-related travel, mobility, working in shift time basis migration geography, flexibility of location, commitment to stay in role for 2-3 years and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification which is linked to career growth in the function. A 2 - year Service Agreement would need to be signed before entering the function.
