Senior Manager- Sourcing/Procurement- With SBI Cards & Payment Services

Role Summary/Purpose :

- This is an integrated role comprising of developing, implementing and leading the overall supplier strategy for sourcing products and services as well as managing the end to end Buy2Pay system (SSS) that supports the procurement/payments process for the entire supplier base of the business.

- The position requires an experienced business professional with supplier management, negotiation, sourcing, and project management experience apart from in-depth knowledge of the Oracle Buy2Pay system (SSS).

Essential Responsibilities Essential Responsibilities :

Sourcing Strategy :

- Develop and lead sourcing strategies for assigned programs (like Marketing amongst others) and projects.

- Develop both short and long term sourcing plans by benchmarking all suppliers, contracts, and services associated with delivering services.

- Provide evaluations of suppliers- capabilities and how they relate in the competitive landscape

- Lead supplier development and sourcing activities in supplier selection and qualification for assigned products & services

- Continuously drive supplier productivity, quality and services to improve supplier performance and meet business operation targets

Vendor Negotiation, Engagement & Contract Management :

- Obtain the necessary inputs from the user group; float request for (RFI/RFP/ RFQ- s), carry out commercial discussions with suppliers, benchmark & evaluate supplier commercials internally and externally;

- Negotiate best price points via market intelligence and competitor analysis with the objective of meeting customer expectations on quality and timelines within stipulated budgets

- Carry out price correction if required, seek necessary internal approvals; close terms and conditions with vendors; engage with potential vendors at regular intervals in order to maximize value creation for the organization. Understand all invoice level tax structures to be able to evaluate TCO level costing for projects/initiatives.

- Consolidate the requirements for the annual negotiations; conduct the negotiation with vendors, consolidate spread across small business orders into large business chunks in order to maximize the value creation for organization

B2P/SSS support :

Leading the end to end Buy2Pay management, Conduct user training's, partner on various ongoing simplification and enhancement projects, including but not limited to:

- First Point Contact for SSS Reporting & Interaction with SSS/B2P supplier, Corporate/GECC & SSS development team both internally as well as the service provider

- Simplification drive for SSS related to Taxation and related user experience

- Delivering on time payment to vendors

- Regular communication and training's at an SMT and a functional and user level for SSS

- Audit closure of BTP related items

Supplier Risk Management :

- Support supplier risk assessment for Operational risk, Information security risk and reputation risk for a supplier before on-boarding.

- Drive supplier compliance in terms of local regulations and company policies/processes.

- Provide direction and guidance when needed and maintain high level of integrity on local supplier base.

Special Projects, Initiatives & Management Reporting :

- Work effectively across poles with NPI project manager, product management, technology, quality and supply chain team in project execution. Provide sourcing leadership throughout NPI process.

- Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities within the Organization for new initiatives, support Sourcing team to execute special & simplification projects based on stakeholder requirements to meet Quality standards & timelines.

Market Benchmarks & Intelligence :

- Gather information on the market trends and current market price points, create information repository & share the latest insights with the management, use the market benchmarks of other large organizations in order to improve current price points.

- Periodic market benchmarks & comparison.

- Mapping of best market prices to GE Capital & associates price points.

Qualifications/Requirements : Graduation + MBA (Preferably)

- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience. Working experience in sourcing/supply chain/manufacturing preferred

- In-depth understanding of SSS System & Marketing contracts.

- Negotiation expertise is preferred

- Analytics, Oracle/SAP and ERP related projects understanding will be preferred.

- Strong project/program management experience

- Fair working knowledge of Microsoft office applications.

- Analytical skills.

- Team Player.
