Senior Manager Slimming - Research & Development

Job Description :

- To create new business opportunities for the existing business within the slimming portfolio in R & D by developing innovative research or leading a review of existing scientific literature

- To oversee the development of science into consumer friendly language and own the commercialization of the same including the created documents.

- To lead, manage or approve the delivery of the new programmes that contribute to the growth requirements of the Business.

- To work as an interface between R&D and commercial in supporting science, communications, including expert marketing. To works collaboratively with relevant colleagues to develop expert marketing content on existing services, products and close to market projects.

- To provide effective Scientific & Technical Stewardship for the slimming business in support of the business purpose.

- Enhance existing portfolio of claims by driving collaboration between R&D, Marketing and other functions for identification of potential new claims and new claim opportunities, particularly for existing services/ programmes.

- Integrate commercial awareness, scientific knowledge and written skills to generate compelling and distinctive claims and other communications in official formats following SOPs.

- Will be required to author, or co-author, internal reports,external publications and/or development plans.

- Identify, develop and nurture relationships with key external experts from academia, healthcare professionals and supplier base.

- Maintain a high level of scientific and technological competence and awareness of the industry by networking, benchmarking to ensure that all solutions proposed are at the forefront of current best practice.
