Job Description  The position is responsible for leading all SEO initiatives and strategies for one of the Business Units within an Internet company. The primary goal for this position is to maximize organic search traffic for the assigned business by improving SERP rank of relevant keywords.  Key Responsibilities:  1. Manage the SEO team for one of the Business Units   2. Manage engagement with category, planning and content teams to collaborate on SEO initiatives  3. Define key metrics and SEO roadmap(including link building strategy) for the respective business unit.  4. Review and analyze analytics and site traffic to gauge positive and negative changes  5. Create and execute a SEO plan for the assigned categories to maximize traffic from the channel  6. Plan SEO tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights on search engine algorithms  7. Collaborate with in-house Content team to optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing  8. Collaborate with SEM team for keyword research and complementary campaigns  9. Research, analyze and benchmark against competitor performance  10. Create and maintain SEO performance dashboard to provide visibility for respective business.  11. Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results.  12. Collaborate with Tech, QA & Product teams to roll out on-page SEO projects.  Desired Candidate Profile  1. Ability to anticipate or quickly react to ever changing landscape of search algorithms by staying on top of current search engine news, trends, practice and social triggers  2. Understanding of web analytics and ability to derive meaningful insights for creation of organic search strategies  3. Comfortable in coordinating with Tech, Product, Business teams & Content Writers regarding changes required in the sites  4. Proven track record of delivering tangible results within their respective functions  5. Excellent verbal, written and presentations skills  6. Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint  7. Passion for SEO and Digital marketing.  8. Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere  9. High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.  10. Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills.  11. Understanding of search engine ranking factors, algorithms, site architectures and strategies.  12. Expert in all areas of SEO including strong technical skills (html, site architecture and content management systems)  13. Familiarity with principles of marketing and web analytics tools.
