Senior Manager - Revenue Accounting
Job Qualifications and Experience required :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- CA/CPA/CWA or other equivalent licensure or certification is required;
- 8 - 12 years demonstrated progression in Record to Report Domain from BPO (GL Accounting, Closing & Reporting, FP&A, etc preferably with a Health Insurance or Life/General Insurance Company
- 4 - 6 years supervisory experience handling GL Accounting processes - Should have handled 15 - 30 Team members
- Hands on experience on managing complex General Ledger Accounting & Reporting processes and with experience of migrating such processes offshore
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP/IFRS/SOX; ability to effectively use accounting knowledge to collaborate with varying levels of employees and senior management to drive sound business decisions.
- Excellent PC skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Sharepoint, Hyperion, Essbase, Cognos and other financial reporting tools, if any
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced analytical and information gathering skills; ability to evaluate and prioritize extensive detailed data
- Hands-on experience in working in an ERP environment (preferably People Soft, if not SAP or Oracle)
- CPA/CMA or other equivalent licensure or certification is required; Active status preferred.
- 5+ years demonstrated progression in financial reporting and analysis.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- Intermediate level of working knowledge of GAAP, ability to effectively use accounting knowledge to collaborate with varying levels of employees and senior management to drive sound business decisions.
- Expert level of proficiency with Excel, Word, and other financial reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced analytical and information gathering skills; ability to evaluate and prioritize extensive detailed data.
- Prior experience successfully managing multiple requests, assessing priorities and achieving solutions under deadlines
- Strong exp in Client Management
Shift timings - 2.30pm-12am (1 week of evening shift, 5.30pm-3am)
