Sr Manager - Electronics (R&D)

Company: Rs 1500+ Cr Company; Leader in consumer products with India's leading brand name in - preventive health- categories.

Role:

Drive and execute Electronics design and development of Consumer Durable products and seamless integration with New Product activities like prototyping, testingand manufacturing for new products, processes and enhance these capabilities.

Should be able to independently handle the projects which consists of complete development of Electronics.

Job Profile:

- Responsible for new projectactivities related to electronics Designs and Components.

- Making and testing prototypes and carrying out product certification with ref. to relevant country standards.

- Undertake all activities from Development of microcontroller based PCB including Layout, prototyping and Final Production from Vendors.

- Application of latest tools/software and methodologies for product validation.

- Interaction with cross functional teams, vendors to develop electronic designs from Concept to execution.

- Should evaluate the field performance of the Electronics components and initiate the changes for further improvement.

- Familiar with relevant standards of Electronics reliability and should be able to generate relevant Test protocols.

- Ability to make complete documentations/specifications of new Electronics designs, & electromechanical components.

Requirement:

- BE/ BTech in Electronics Engineering with 12-15 years experience or ME/MTech with minimum10 years of relevant industry and domain experience.

- Possess thorough knowledge of Electronics Design &selection standards for components and manufacturing processes including power component / transformer mounting etc.

- Knowledge of the vendor base/ Manufacturers of critical electronic and electro mechanical components.

- Familiar with standards for basic power supply design procedure.

- Significant hands on experience and proficiency on Development and testing of power supply, power supply circuits, Microcontroller based PCBA etc.

- Knowledge on electronic Manufacturing processes including PCB assemblies and testing.

- Well versed with futuristic trends like IOT and high end HMIs, displays etc relevant to consumer products

- Should have Good written / oral communication skills, inter-personnel skills and Self motivation.

- A good team player, capable of handling and motivating a team for successful project delivery

- Possess good analytical skills and have flair for technical & engineering aspects of product design.

- Well versed with futuristic trends like IOT and high end HMIs, displays etc relevant to consumer products

Desirables:

- Brings experience and expertise in development of products in consumer durable industry especially Preventive Health related products like Water and Air purifiers, solar energy etc.

- Should have demonstrated skills in continuous improvement methodologies, positive customer relationship, building organizational capabilities, effective collaborations and delivering tangible outputs.
