Position : Sr. Manager-INVIT,

Location : Mumbai,

Qualification : CA & LLB, MBA,CS.

Job Responsibility :

Key Aspects of the job : the Job will include the following :

Candidates are required for the Legal Team.

- To draft all legal documents required for InviT/ReiT transactions as per the timelines

- To vet the legal documents as required

- To review the InviT/ReiT transactions and provide comments for any changes/improvements in alignment with the framework

- To liaise with external legal counsel for advise on specific transactions/requirements

- To keep track of all legal circulars/high court judgments and update the internal team

- To ensure all legal documents prepared/vetted as in alignment with changes made in the legal framework

- To coordinate with SEBI for registration of InviT/ReiT as required

- To ensure all documents sent to SEBI for registration are as per the compliance requirements

- To follow-up with SEBI for InviT/ReiT registrations

- To collect the registration certificate from SEBI

- To communicate the receipt of the registration certificate to all applicable stakeholders for future processes

- To make changes in the document if any changes/amendments are required in the documents & ensure registration for the same is completed with SEBI within the timelines

- To provide Legal OK for all InviT/ReiT transactions post required checks are completed

- To support the InviT/ReiT operations as required

- To liaise with BD team for all InviT/ReiT transaction deals and provide legal advice to clients as required

- To advise the Investment Managers of InviT/ReiT transactions on all legal compliance's and matters as required

- To liaise and discuss with clients for all Trust documents, Investment Manager Agreement and Private Placement Memorandum and suggest changes as required

- To act as legal counsel in transactions where we have drafted the above mentioned document s

- To handle all day-to-day queries/issues raised by clients within the agreed timelines

- To regularly research on legal frameworks/ amendments/ changes and communicate to all stakeholders accordingly

- To contribute towards development of new products/ changes in existing product as per the changes in legal framework

- To liaise with BD and Operations team for all legal advisory/ issue resolutions for all InviT/ReiT transactions as required

Candidate Profile :

Candidates are required for the Legal Team. Should have good inter personal skills and have the attitude to work hard and knowledge of documentation specially with respect to InviT/ReiT and a knowledge on trusteeship .

InviT/ReiT formation, InviT/ReiT documentation and transaction advisory.
