Profile Summary:

We have a dynamic opportunity in Solution Architecture Team

The incumbent will be dealing with designing solutions for Server, IaaS, Storage and Backup of OEMs mainly EMC, Netapp, HP, Dell,IBM, Hitachi and CISCO. He/ She should be proficient in Designing and Optimizing Solution around Datacenter Practices.

Role and Responsibilities

- Engaging with customers & capturing customer requirements.

- Designing & Architecting the solutions with all range of Server, Storage and Backup Solutions

- Preparing RFPs & proposals that meet end customer needs.

- Delivering product/solution demonstrations & presentations to customers.

- Negotiating with OEMs on Commercials and Optimizing the Solution.

- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product stack and be able to position our solution versus our competitors.

Required Competencies

- Architecting Virtualization Solution using :VMware or Hyper-V Industry standard hypervisor

- Very good understanding of Server consolidation/Migration/Virtualization/Data Center consolidation in X86 and RISC Domain

- Excellent Knowledge of Storage and Backup Technologies like Tiering, Virtualization and Deduplication.

- Excellent/efficient knowledge of Server and Storage Products from OEMs mainly EMC, Netapp,Hitachi,HP,Dell, Cisco and IBM.

- Excellent knowledge of making solution and write-up for Servers, Storage and BCP and presenting to customer.

- Good understanding of Windows and Linux Operating system

- Good understanding of Clustering solution available in the industry

- Solution architecting on Servers, in terms of virtualization, HA and DR and thereby sizing the Server products.

- Solution architecting on storage and backup technologies, in terms of understanding the IOPS, and thereby sizing the storage product.

- Doing Backup Sizing in to meet Backup Windows and Data Availability criteria of the Customer.

- Knowledge of SAP Sizing for Servers and Storage.

- Knowledge of Business Continuity and DR Management.

- Configuring tools of the leading Server and Storage OEMs like EMC, HP etc.

- Certified Professional for Storage/Backup Presales with at least 2 major OEMS like EMC, HP, Netapp,Hitachi etc.

Certifications

- Required: Professional Presales Certificate of EMC/Netapp/HP/CISCO/IBM etc.

- Preferable: VMware, EMC ISM and Netapp ASAP
