Sr MANAGER (PMO)
Hiring Sr Manager - Project Implementation Planning for an MNC based in Mumbai, into KPO/BPO services.
Role: To effectively lead and support cross functional projects/programmes that would deliver against the Contact Centre Transformation Plan and the Company Plan. To develop a high performing team which manages and supports delivery of the cross functional projects/programmes.
1. Planning:
- Participate in setting objectives and KPIs for self and the team
- Plan short term and long term resource requirements
- Prioritize workload as need be
2. Execution:
- Seek approval from the headcount forum for additional resources as and when
- Allocate committed and skilled resources as per the need of the business
- Ensure project management methodology is followed whilst projects/programmes are implemented
- Set up structured processes
- Support effective execution of the Contact Centre Governance
- Review reports and performance to take remedial actions
- Timely review of management reports
3. Communication:
- Ensure regular and timely communication of progress on the projects/programmes.
- Effectively and clearly communicate the direction from the senior management team on the projects/programmes.
- Regularly cascade the progress on the Contact Centre Transformation Plan and Company Plan to the team
- Regular cascade business information to the team
- Should have the ability to have difficult conversations with stakeholders constructively.
4. Managing People:
- Recruit right candidate for the right profile.
- Understand the current capability of individuals and the team. Train, coach and develop team members to execute complex projects/programmes.
- Build a career path for the team members.
- Build a succession plan and execute the same.
- Motivate team members through timely rewards and recognition.
- Supervise the day to day working of the team.
- Carry out timely appraisals with SMART action plans. Half yearly carry have course correction conversations.
- Resolve conflicts positively.
- Persuade people in a positive manner to achieve the desired outcome
- Ensure effective stakeholder management
5. Decision Making
- Ability to make tough and timely decisions on task and people
6. Others:
- Customer focus (internal & external)
- Programme Management Office is a support department. The purpose of the department is to lead and implement projects/programmes that would deliver the Contact Centre Transformation Plan and the Company Plan.
- The reporting is into Head - Programme Management Office. There are 3 direct reportees: Programme Managers.
- Interactions are with all departments across Contact Centre depending on the scale of the project/programme. Interactions with UK are need based.
- It involves travelling to Pune. It may involve travelling to UK.
- It’s a Monday to Friday job in UK shift.
