About our Client - Our client is a renowned world leader in the manufacturing sector. They are a listed NYSE company with revenue of $4+ billion and are recognized as pioneers in this industry. They are looking to recruit an established HR/IR professional to lead the Plant in Pune.

Job Description - Reporting into the HR - Head APAC region you would be responsible for:

Industrial Relations :

- Work with Trade Union head, committees and workers to make sure the harmony in the workplace and peaceful relationship with all employees including workers. Work with internal and external legal counsel on labor matters. Negotiation for collective agreement once every 3 years.

- Promote corporate culture, core values and strategies

- Work as business partners with all employees and function heads (local, regional and global)

- Review and propose all HR policies and process and execute the required policies and process and make the successful implementation

- Build, coach and develop HR team - Talent acquisition including campus recruitment and program set up for interns

Communication :

- Promote public relationship with external parties including government authorities and local political leaders

- Lead and implement HR project/programs for Corporate HR and Asia HR - work with shared service team in HR to complete projects and improve process and policies.

HR Administration :

- Manage HR Administration including daily administration (canteen, office & plant cleaning and transportation), monthly payroll, annually incentives, mandatory benefits, insurance brokers, annual budget, monthly reports and approve related expenses

The Successful Candidate :

- The applicant must have 8 - 15 years of experience, preferred in a multinational company (American Corporation).You will come with extensive exposure of dealing with internal and external unions in the Maharashtra belt.

- You should posses knowledge of labor laws & related HR government regulations in India. Good spoken and written English and Marathi skills are a must.

- Should have knowledge of Excel Worksheet, Power Point, and Word Document for this role.
