Job Description :

Role and Responsibility :

- Act as the face of People Office for the company.

- Responsible for senior level decision making and both day to day management and strategic direction at the zone.

- Develop and monitor People Office strategies, systems, tactics and procedures and ensure convergence of group vision at the zonal level.

- Plan and monitor zonal manpower budget, manpower planning, cost rationalization.

- Keep up with the changing statutory compliance, review compliance on periodic basis and ensure adherence.

- Align People office agenda to the business goals.

- Provide leadership and guidance in the development and design of People Office systems.

- Work in conjunction with the business/Department Head to communicate organisation's objective that enable improved business results.

- Ensure group policy adherence and effectiveness with line managers through interactions with leadership teams.

- Design, Forecast and Drive Talent Acquisition and succession planning, manage recruitment and selection process ensuring right fit for the right job.

- Ensure Mentoring and coaching of Key performers.

- Drive performance appraisal as per company policy, reward employees as per their performance and ensure seamless and unbiased approach to the process.

- Drive the performance management processes by ensuring the managers are coached on effective feedback mechanisms and drive a high-performance culture.

- Ensure availability of skilled manpower at stores for seamless business operations.

- Identify cultural traits to be enhanced and translate into behavioral competencies.

- Design and implement career development programs for employees at stores and zonal across all levels.

- Design and develop Individual Development Plan for all employees at band 3 above level at the zone and stores.

- Drive initiatives aimed at employee happiness and employee retention.

- Develop skills of store and zone employees through structured skill and product training and ensure on the job coaching.

- Design and implement techniques for job rotation.

- Provide information, reports and conduct regular reviews on data such as staff turnover, budgets, staff cost to sales, man days trained, training effectiveness, people development.

- Design and monitor Store Karta development plan and ensure regular training interventions.

- Conduct training needs analysis and designs and implement a training plan with input from business heads.

- Implementation and ensuring top of the mind recall for group initiatives such as Speed and Imagination, Pride, Imagine-O-Quotient.

- Forecasting and driving manpower planning and availability for smooth new store launches.

- Formulation plans for outsourcing manpower to achieve effective manpower allocation and availability.

- Driving diversity and inclusion, maintaining male female ratio across stores and zones.

- Driving and leading a culture of customer centricity.

- Nurture a positive working environment

Experience :

- 10+ years HR experience in a growth environment

- 6+ years experience as a HR Business Partner or equivalent

- A roll up your sleeves and get it done leadership style and marked by a high level of energy and attention to detail.

- Act as a role model for the organization, looks beyond own team as a role model and source of knowledge. Works with others in a collaborative and solutions focused manner to achieve win-win outcomes.

- Able to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions ability to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they are presented.

- Able to problem solve both operational and strategic issues through a pragmatic and commercially sound approach.

- Strong focus on innovation and design thinking.

- Comfortable operating in a matrix and constantly changing
