Senior Manager, Operational Risk- CDD-FCC  To ensure that operational risk is being effectively managed by ensuring business management implements and maintains the operational risk aspects of the Bank’s Risk Management Framework, group operational risk strategy and associated operational risk procedures.  - Leading, managing and developing an effective internal Review Team  - Planning and scoping review assignments effectively, allocating review resources, defining deadlines and ensuring a comprehensive and appropriate terms of reference is set for each review.  - Conducts risk assessments and identifies controls in place and areas of review to identify the risk and its mitigation.   - Liaison with senior/middle management in the planning and conduct of review assignments discussing findings, emerging risks and actions to address identified risks.  - Producing timely review reports to meet the required standard for reporting to senior management.  - Provides advice on internal control and participates in enhancing internal review standards and practices  - Assess, evaluate and promote compliance to internal policies and procedures.  - Analyses and concludes on effectiveness and efficiency of control environment and identifies control gaps and opportunities for improvement  - A full time Graduate or Post Graduate in any discipline  - 10-15 years experience in banking operations including internal audit / Operational risk experience   - An in-depth knowledge in CDD (Compliance Due Diligence) / Financial Crime Compliance / AML - including OFAC / FATF regulations   - An in-depth understanding of Policies and Procedures and market practices around CDD/ FCC and operational risk   - ACAMS certification would be an added advantage  - Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognising, anticipating, and resolving operational or process problems   - Confident and self-motivated leader with experience in effectively negotiating with and influencing others in a matrix environment  - Ability and confidence to operate across a wide range of seniority levels, functional divides, locations and businesses  - Be able to create and tailor clear and concise verbal and written communications to different audiences, fluent written and spoken English language skills  - Possess a pro-active posture and committed to continuous improvement  - Good presentation skills  - Demonstrable analytical thinking  - Data analysis and reporting skills  - A team player who enjoys working with people on all levels as well as being able to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
