Senior Manager - Office of Ethics & Compliance - Pharma (10-15 yrs)

Opening for a Sr. Manager - Office of Ethics and Compliance in a Pharma MNC :

Location : Delhi

Reporting To : Director OEC

The candidate should have 10+years of experience with a CA or Law background :

The Sr. Manager OEC monitoring will provide advice and counsel on matters of compliance and ethical business practices. Key job responsibilities includes

1. Compliance Risk Management, running risk identification models to identify risk, work with key stake holders for risk mitigation, action plan and tracking & owning closure

2. Train compliance analysts on job and Guide other compliance managers in compliance risk identification and mitigation

3. Review operations for Government Bidding process and draft applicable controls

4. Define, draft compliance audit protocols, draft the compliance audit plan, track issues and timely closure and report out in compliance committees

5. Work with Key leadership teams in business units to identify key compliance risks to mitigate, guide business teams to drive compliance risk assessment including compliance with local laws and applicable local codes

6. Identify gaps if any in policies & SoP's for compliance activities and draft suitable policies & procedures with relevant stake holder engagement to plug gaps if any

7. Monitor high risk transactions on a timely basis, define applicable system controls in place for review, approval of activity and timely preparing the dash boards for appropriate report outs to the management and OEC director

8. Develop proactive preventive controls in system for compliance priorities to be a better business enabler

9. Develop, implement, and coordinate education and training programs that focus on the elements of the corporate-wide compliance program, particularly related to key values, policies and procedures.

10. Monitor adherence to compliance policies and procedures.

11. Provide advice as it relates to compliance with applicable policies and procedures.

12. Lead project teams in implementing complex, cross-functional ethics and compliance initiatives to include corrective and preventive measures.

13. Be aware of changes in regulatory environment to guide suitable proactive measures to mitigate risk

In addition, he/she will collaborate and consult with Corporate OEC, Legal, Human Resources, Medical and marketing & Commercial to ensure the successful integration and implementation of compliance and ethics across all businesses

- Chartered Accountant with BIG 4 experience with more than 10 yrs or Advocate/ Lawyer with more than 10 yrs of experience

- Prior Compliance experience must

- Ideally the candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of related professional experience including some pharmaceutical or health care compliance program experience as either a member of a multinational compliance team, consultant, or outside counsel
