Constantly weeds out non-performing suppliers. Facilitates Vendor development activities.  - Analyzes, develops and implements strategic plans to take out costs, improve competitiveness and fully support the Company's business objectives.   - Creates sourcing leverage where it did not earlier exist. Maximizes efficiencies of out-sourced partners, Strategic sourcing agreements  - Vendor & Material Management Implements Category Management concepts for effective Vendor & Material sourcing management systems.  - Negotiations, strategies, Contractual bindings, synergies in materials sourcing, evaluation make or buy decisions, Business Continuity Plans, Source Plans & Vendor Audits.  - Generates cost savings to assure competitiveness and support business growth. Achieve Annual Operating plans of the Group in Global Arena by sourcing materials from India. Develop strategies to meet sourcing savings on AOP targets.  - Maintain systematic and fact-based approach for optimizing an organization's supply base and improving the overall value proposition  - Building Sourcing Strategies and decision making by conducting Detail Spend analysis, Tracking of Raw materials and Feedstock pricing, extensive Market Study and mastering the molecules.  - Analysis and Focused on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) incorporating customer needs, organizational goals, and market conditions.  - Develop & implement multi-year contracts with standardized terms and conditions across the organisation  - Vendor relation Management  - Raw Material Budget, Inventory and Credit controls.  - Implementation of SOPs and E- sourcing tools like RFx process, Actions etc  - Purchase Price Variance, MIS reports and Inventory report creation  - Promotes changes in processes, approaches, thinking and techniques to keep the company competitive in today's rapidly changing business environment.  - Stays abreast of industry trends and changing market conditions. Keeps the company informed of important internal activities and relevant external events, including competitive intelligence. Contributes to the dashboard.
