Senior Manager/Manager - Indirect Taxation - Consulting Firm (6-10 yrs)

Delhi/NCR/Gurgaon Job Code: 443236

- Review and identify GST, VAT, Service Tax planning opportunities, coordinate implementation of tax planning and tax risk management tools and tax risk mitigating strategies;

- Provide solid tax positions and practical advice to local business operations, supporting functions on indirect tax operational issues;

- Actively lead in managing tax enquiries, assessments, tax audits and litigations by interfacing with external tax authorities, government agencies, legal counsels, international stakeholders etc

- Review and strengthen the processes that support statutory compliance, GST, Service Tax and VAT etc.

- Ensure 100% tax compliance, review computation & tax positions, effectively coordinate with peer groups and obtain all information & documents and ensure that Tax returns are filed within deadlines with proper documentation;

- Review registrations, tax rates in system, monthly computations, reports, documentation etc., to review monthly tax liability;

- Ensure payment of tax, filing returns, issuing certificates, create repository and maintain documents & details for audit purposes etc.

- Effectively communicate with all stakeholders about change in law, or tax position, annual budget / GST changes etc. and ensure the same are carried out in systems without disruption of business;

- Assist India Tax lead in overall function, managing the effective tax rate, FAS 5 tax provision etc;
